1. Establishment, Effectiveness and Scope of the Agreement

1.1 This agreement is established between the user and BFD regarding the domain name transfer. This agreement takes effect immediately when the user clicks to agree, indicating that the user has read, understood, acknowledged, and agreed to abide by this agreement.

1.2 VM reserves the right to modify the terms of this agreement. The revised agreement will take effect immediately after it is published on our website (VM.com). Users can review the latest version of the agreement terms on the corresponding service page before using VM services. If you do not agree to comply with this revised agreement, please stop using this website.

2. Domain Transfer Rules

2.1 The user pledges to comply with the relevant laws, administrative regulations, policies and domain name dispute resolution methods established by ICANN, national domain name authorities, registration management organizations and registration service organizations. The user's transfer of the domain name is subject to all transfer policies. The user has a responsibility to visit the websites of ICANN, national domain name authorities and registration management organizations to understand the latest transfer policies and accept all applicable transfer policies before transferring the domain name on VM.

2.2 VM provides users with relevant domain registration transfer services, including domain transfers in and out. The domains transferred by the user do not involve any disputes, conflicts, lawsuits, arbitrations etc. If such issues arise, the user must immediately notify VM and try to avoid involving VM in unnecessary disputes as much as possible.

2.3 Matters related to the user's domain name being transferred from VM to other domain registration service organizations, and the user's domain name being transferred from other domain registration service organizations to VM are not related to VM.

2.4 As long as users provide information that meets VM's requirements in accordance with ICANN's transfer rules, it is considered a transfer initiated by the user to VM. Users cannot claim unauthorized transfers to VM. If the domain name is transferred due to improper account management by the user, the user shall bear all responsibilities and it has nothing to do with VM.

2.5 Users understand and guarantee to comply with the following domain transfer rules:

(1)The domain is in a normal state, unrelated to any ongoing domain disputes or conflicts;

(2)The domain is not being processed by judicial institutions, arbitration bodies or domain dispute resolution organizations;

(3)The domain is not in arrears of registration fees;

(4)There are no unauthorized transfers;

(5)The domain has not been registered or transferred for less than 60 days with the registrar;

(6)User has not chosen to prohibit transfer within 60 days after changes in the registrant's information;

(7)Domain transfer registrars need to follow procedures and rules established by VM according to ICANN and registry management requirements.

2.6 Once you've received the domain transfer password, it's your responsibility to keep it safe. You should submit it to the new service provider within its validity period for a successful transfer. If any loss or leakage of this password due to poor management results in failed or unauthorized domain transfers, VM will not be held responsible.

2.7 During the transfer process, if the user cancels on their own or applies to cancel the transfer themselves, it is considered an automatic forfeiture of the transfer.

2.8 If the user's domain name registration is less than 60 days old, or it has been less than 60 days since the last transfer, it cannot be transferred to another registrar.

2.9 Users should renew their domain names before they expire. VM will not be responsible for any losses caused by the failure to timely renew and transfer expired domains.

2.10 If during the domain transfer process it is found that the domain already exists or there may be disputes, controversies, arbitrations, thefts and other situations, VM has the right to stop or cancel the user's domain transfer application at any time. VM also reserves the right to take actions including but not limited to freezing the domain.

2.11 During the domain transfer process, if users encounter any problems, VM should assist in resolving them to help users successfully complete the transfer. However, VM does not assume responsibility for user losses during the transfer process that are not caused by VM.

2.12 When users transfer a domain name, they should enter the correct transfer code and pay for one year's renewal fee. The validity of the domain name can be extended by one year. However, if the payment is made and the validity of the domain name exceeds the maximum term allowed by the registration authority for renewal, any excess part will not be valid and users cannot request a refund from VM.

2.13 After the user successfully transfers the domain name, the use of the transferred domain name should comply with the provisions of the "VM Domain Registration Agreement".

3. Supplementary Provisions

3.1 VM refers to SINO PROFIT (HONG KONG) LIMITED and its potentially associated operating companies, with the domain: VM.com.

3.2 The titles of this agreement are for convenience and easy reference only, and have no impact on the interpretation of the mutual agreement unless otherwise specified in this agreement. Regardless of purpose, all contract terms and agreements within this agreement should be interpreted as separate and independent contracts or agreements. If any court/authority with jurisdiction deems any term (or part thereof) of this agreement to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms (or parts thereof) shall remain unaffected to the fullest extent permitted by law, still valid and enforceable.
