# Domain Template

### What Is a Domain Template?

A Domain Template is an identity profile used to store and manage domain registrant information.

You can create and save registrant details in advance — such as name, email address, contact information, and company information — and quickly apply them when registering, trading, transferring, or PUSHing domains, without repeatedly entering the same information.

* **Create Once, Reuse Anywhere：**A single template can be linked to multiple domain names.
* **Centralized Management：**Manage registrant information across domains more efficiently.
* **Faster Operations：**Quickly apply saved information during domain registration, trading, ownership transfer, or PUSH operations.
* **Enhanced Security & Compliance：**Simplifies identity verification, compliance review, and domain asset management.

### How to Create a Domain Template

1. After logging in to the VM platform, go to **User Center → Domain Management**.
2. From the left-side navigation menu, select **Domain Templates** to enter the **Domain Templates** page.
3. Click **Add Template** to open the **Add Information Template** page.

*\* Domain information templates are available for two user types: **Individual** and **Business**. Please select the appropriate type based on your actual registrant identity.*

4. After completing the template information, click **Submit** and wait for the template review process to be completed.

     **Template Review Time**

* **Individual Templates:** Usually completed within a few minutes to several hours
* **Business Templates:** Usually completed within 1–3 business days

During the review period, certain functions — such as domain registration, DNS resolution, transfer, and PUSH operations — may be temporarily restricted. Once the template is approved, domains can be linked to the template normally.

*\* To improve the approval success rate, please ensure that all submitted information is accurate, complete, and consistent.*

5. **Check Review Status:**\
On the **Domain Templates** page, verify whether the template status shows **Template Approved**.

If the status shows **Template Review Failed**, please update the information according to the provided instructions and resubmit the template for review.
